Systems Engineer- Traffic Signal Controls & ITS

Job Description :

• Experienced in Traffic Control Systems of junctions and pedestrian junctions of Infrastructure development projects
• Experienced in design of systems related to Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) such as traffic signals and electronic warning and information systems, toll booth, tunnels including dynamic message signs and lane control systems.
• Understanding of road drawings, road signage and surface marking, traffic signal near rail roads, LRT, one lane, two way and work zones.
• Freeway and expressway entrance ramps Design knowledge in sensors, toll tag readers, signal timing concepts, time space diagrams, Lane control signals, traffic signal controllers, roundabout signal controls, sizing of CCTV and FOV calculations
• Design experience in TCS/ITS corridor, ducts/manholes, road crossing ducts, basic understanding of electrical infrastructure including power backup and communication design of traffic control systems including fiber optic cabling, MPLS GSM interface and TMC Hub connectivity
• Work closely with the transportation strategy team to carry out the traffic control signal design based on Traffic Master plan, Traffic Impact Assessment, and mobility strategy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors' Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in Traffic controls and ITS of Infrastructure design only

• Willing to be assigned in Abu Dhabi
